Typhoon Ruby Smashes Eastern Visayas, Heads to Masbate - LIVE UPDATES


December 7: Typhoon Ruby or Hagupit smashes Eastern Visayas, Philippines saturday night and it's heading to Masbate to make landfall December 7, 2014 between 2PM to 4PM. Typhoon Ruby causes power blockout and communication cutoff in Eastern Visayas. Many electric posts were down and some houses were reported damaged when Ruby strikes Visayas.

Ruby maintained its strength of 175kph of wind and gustiness up to 210kph. Typhoon Ruby is expected to make another 5 landfalls in the Philippines.
